Fidwise Support
This page is how you reach us and get help with Fidwise. Write to us with a question, a problem, a complaint or a request to delete your data, and a person will read it and reply.
Ask us anything about Fidwise here.
contact@fidwise.comOne address for everything: support, questions, bug reports, account deletion, privacy requests, and reports about something you have seen in the app. We aim to reply to every message.
What to tell us, so we can actually help
You do not have to write it neatly. Sending these four things gets you a useful answer far faster than sending only "it is broken".
- Your device. iPhone or Android, and the model if you know it.
- Your Fidwise version. It is at the bottom of your profile in the app.
- What happened. What you tapped, and what the app did.
- What you expected instead. A screenshot helps more than anything else.
If it is about your account, write from the email address you signed in with, or tell us what that address is, so we can find you.
Questions people ask most
How do I delete my account?
Open Fidwise, go to your profile, and choose Delete Account. That removes your profile, your comments, your reactions, your follows and your posts. If you cannot get into the app, write to contact@fidwise.com and ask us to delete it for you.
How do I report a story or a comment?
Open the three dots menu on any story or any comment, then choose Report and pick a reason. The report reaches our moderation team, and we act on it. You can also write to us about anything you have seen, and it helps if you say where you saw it.
How do I block someone?
The same menu you report from also lets you block the person who wrote it. Open the three dots menu on their comment, their story or their profile, then choose Block this person. Blocking hides everything they write from you straight away, everywhere in the app, and it tells our moderation team about the content you blocked them over. You can undo a block at any time from Blocked people on your profile.
Does Fidwise give investment advice?
No. Fidwise publishes factual news summaries and lets people discuss them. Nothing in the app is investment advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Other people using Fidwise are not your advisers, whatever they claim. Any decision you make with your own money is yours alone.
Do I need an account to read the news?
No. Reading the feed, opening a story and reading the discussion under it all work without signing in. You need an account only to post, comment, react or follow.
I did not get the notifications I asked for
Check that notifications are switched on for Fidwise in your phone's own settings, because the phone can refuse them even after the app has asked. If they are on and still nothing arrives, write to us and say which alerts you expected.
Something in a news summary is wrong
Every story names its source and links to the original report, so start there to see what was published. If our summary itself is wrong, send us the story and tell us what is wrong with it, and we will correct or remove it.
I want a copy of my data
Ask us at contact@fidwise.com and we will send you what we hold about you. The privacy policy lists what that is.
Who runs Fidwise
Fidwise is built and run by FIDWISE PRIVATE LIMITED, a company registered in India (CIN U63120UW2026PTC260072). Support is handled by the people who build the app, which is why the address on this page is the only one you need. There is no call centre and no ticket number.
Write to contact@fidwise.com for anything at all, including anything you would rather not put in the app.
Privacy and terms
What we collect and why is in the Fidwise Privacy Policy. The rules for using the app, including what is not allowed and what happens to people who break them, are in the Fidwise Terms of Use.
